Welcome to the world of Colio Estate Wines, a tradition of award-winning viticulture and winemaking that blends experience, modern innovation and a palpable passion, one that is reflected in every product that we make. When we first opened our doors in 1980 we were recipients of the first winery license in the region since prohibition. This rekindled a viticultural interest in what was once the largest grape growing area in the country and led to the establishment of the Lake Erie North Shore as a VQA designated viticulture area.
Today, our picturesque winery in Harrow boasts over 2.4 million litres of cooperage including a climate-controlled barrel aging room and a technologically advanced bottling line that produces in excess of 240,000 cases per year.
We were awarded "WINERY OF THE YEAR" at the 49th Annual Niagara Grape & Wine Festival.
