CANADA EXPORT CENTRE OPENS OFFICE IN MANILA, PHILIPPINES
Canada Export Centre is very pleased to announce the opening of its latest international office in Manila, Philippines, to help facilitate further bi-lateral trade for Canada Export Centre Clients. Philippine Director’s Message:
There has never been a time more opportune than now to strengthen international trade and business and leverage the effective use and flow of capital, manufacturing and services. It is our mandate to foster trade and business to and from South East Asia via the Philippine Desk.
The Philippines is a strategically placed group of islands at the heart of South East Asia. Historically the trading hub of the Spanish for 400 years and subsequently the Americans for 100 years, the Philippines is a well established resource for natural resources (mining, wood products), light manufacturing, electronics, human resources, and many other sectors. Its geographical location and safe freeports and warehousing makes it an ideal transhipment hub for trade to and from Asia.
As such, it is with pride and honour that our team opens the gates of South East Asia for the Canada Export Centre’s global network. Our team consists of well-respected business professionals in the Philippines and Canada. I am humbled to be in the company of such seasoned veterans of the government, financial and industrial sectors of the Philippines.
